Located on Kiyamachi Street, guests can rent out an entire Japanese-style Machiya Townhouse at Iori Kyoto Townhouse Minoya-cho. This large riverfront townhouse features large glass sliding doors which offer beautiful views of the river. Built by local craftsmen, this 2-storey house has an extra attic, a kitchen, large living areas and tatami-mat rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and Kiyomizu Gojo Train Station is a 10-minute walk away. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) floors. The townhouse features air conditioning facilities and an en suite bathroom with a Japanese-style tub. The kitchen includes a fridge, electric kettle and a microwave. Kitchenware and a coffee maker with organic coffee are included as well. Bicycle rental and luggage storage are available at the property, as well as English-speaking concierge services. Guests can experience additional services such as traditional tea ceremonies and calligraphy writing, or try on kimonos for an extra cost. Although there are no on-site restaurants, the property's staff will be able to recommend famous local eateries. Minoya-cho Iori Kyoto Townhouse is a 12-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji Temple, Sanjusangen-do Temple and Kyoto Tower.
