Providing a private retreat in the heart of Kyoto, Iori Townhouse Oku Tamaya-cho features heated wooden floors, 2 Japanese-style bedrooms and an inner garden, a 5-minute walk from Gojo Station. Free Wi-Fi, concierge services and bicycle rentals are available. From Tamaya-cho Oku Townhouse it's a 7-minute walk to Higashihongan-ji Temple, and a 10-minute walk to Kyoto Tower. JR Kyoto Station is a 15-minute walk away. On the first floor, the Western-style living room and the bathroom with a Japanese cypress bathtub overlook the garden. Stairs lead up to the second floor, where bedrooms feature soft lighting and traditional futon bedding on tatami (woven mat) floors. The house has a dining area, a washing machine and air conditioning. Townhouse Oku is fitted with a kitchenette that offers a microwave, a fridge and a coffee machine. Complimentary organic coffee and tea are provided. Guests can order in breakfast and dinner from a shop nearby.

Check-in directions: Upon arrival in Kyoto, please make a phone call to the townhouse's management company to arrange a check-in time. At the townhouse, you will be checked in and given a tour of the property.
The property is strictly non-smoking. Use of an open flame is prohibited.
Guests are requested to bring their own nightwear and toothbrush.
Cover sheets for the traditional futon bedding can be changed daily, upon request.
