This gold award-winning B&B is set in the heart of Wensleydale and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Thorney Mire Barn offers luxurious rooms with views of the Dales, home cooking and 4-acres of private woodland with home-grown produce and reared animals. Light and spacious rooms have free Wi-Fi and feature a flat-screen TV with DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with bathrobes and deluxe Molton Brown toiletries. Thorney Mire cooked breakfasts feature local ingredients and are served alongside cereals, homemade bread and preserves. A picnic with homemade pastries and breads is available and an individually designed 3-course meal can be served in your room in the evenings. The property’s south-facing garden has charming patio areas and the plot is home to chickens, geese, ducks and pigs. The house has a secluded location, but is only 1.5 miles from historic Hawes and is a great base for exploring the Yorskhire Dales and North York Moors National Park.
