Situated in the quiet village of Carhampton, The Butchers Arms is a Grade II listed building on the edge of Exmoor National Park. It features an on-site restaurant and bar with open fireplaces, and free on-site parking. A TV and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in each room at The Butchers Arms, as well as an en suite bathroom. A full English breakfast is served each morning in the dining room, and packed lunches can be provided on request. Slow-cooked roast pork, beef and turkey are available each Sunday as part of the carvery, and accompanied by the chef’s free homemade soup of the day. Lunch and evening courses are also on offer. Blue Anchor’s seafront can be reached in a 10-minute drive, and the Quantock Hills are less than 10 miles away. Mountain biking, hiking and horse riding can be enjoyed within Exmoor National Park.
