Situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park, Townsend Farmhouse B&B is a Grade II listed 17th-century building, which retains many of its original features. Free on-site parking is available to all guests. Free Wi-Fi, a private bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in each room at Townsend Farmhouse, as well as a hairdryer and alarm clock. A full English breakfast is served in the beamed dining room, which features a crackling fire on cold mornings. American style omelettes and smoked salmon are also available. Guests can also relax in the large garden with seating. Hiking, cycling and horse riding can be enjoyed within the national park, as well as many villages offering local cream teas. Dunster Castle & Gardens and West Somerset Steam Railway are just a 5-minute drive away.
