Situated within the quaint fishing village of Tarbert, in the Kintyre Peninsula, the family run Victoria Hotel enjoys striking harbour and loch views. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and fresh locally caught seafood. Rooms within the Victoria are decorated using neutral colours and furnished with warm wooden fittings. They feature a flat-screen TV and a contemporary tiled en suite bathroom. The large rustic restaurant offers views across the harbour and features hand-crafted tables and chairs. The menu is updated on a regular basis and features local produce, including seafood caught within a few hundred meters of the hotel. The area around Loch Fyne is a great place to sample some of the local wildlife, including basking sharks, dolphins and birds of prey. Skipness Castle, which was built in the 13th Century, is within 13 miles south of the hotel.
