Situated in the seaside village of Portsoy, The Boyne Hotel is just 3 minutes’ walk from the town’s 17th-century harbour, and located on the castle and whisky trails of Aberdeenshire and Moray. Guests can enjoy a taste of local whisky in the hotel’s lounge bar. An en suite shower room, flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in each room at The Boyne, and some feature free Wi-Fi and partial sea views. A wide selection of meals made with locally sourced produce are served in the intimate dining room, including baked hallibut and homemade beef burgers. Carefully selected wines are also on offer. The Portsoy Marble shop is only a 2-minute walk and features local pottery, knitwear and jewellery.
