Located at the heart of the Alentejo, the Hotel O Gato is atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the countryside. The elegant hotel features access to an outdoor swimming pool area. All air-conditioned rooms at the Gato feature a flat-screen TV with international channels, private bathroom, minibar and views over the countryside. The apartments also feature an equipped kitchenette. A buffet breakfast is served each morning at the Gato. The hotel restaurant features traditional Alentejo wines and cuisine, such as regional sausages, chorizos, açordas and migas (both based upon mashed bread with spices, olive oil and eggs). For lighter meals, there is also an on site snack bar. The hotel also has a large swimming pool and sun loungers surrounding it. There is also a bar area, where guests can enjoy a refreshing cocktail. Free WiFi is available in the public areas of the hotel. There is also a games room, with billiards. Free private parking is available inside the hotel. Guests can take advantage of the green surroundings and go cycling in one of the property’s free bikes. It is a 3-minute drive from the centre of Odivelas, with many cafés, restaurants and shops to choose from. Fishing and water sports are available at the Odivelas Lake, only a short 3-minute drive from the hotel. Ferreira do Alentejo is a 14-minute drive away while Grândola is a 43-minute drive. The Lisbon International Airport is a 90-minute drive from the Hotel O Gato. An airport shuttle service is available, at a surcharge.
