The thatched and whitewashed Plum Tree Cottage is situated in the village of Mcgregor, in between Riviersonderend and Robertson. The cottage features views of the village and of the surrounding countryside. The open-plan lounge has a large fireplace and the spacious kitchen is fully equipped. The main bedroom has an open thatched ceiling and the bathroom includes a shower. There is a washing machine and clothes dryer in the cottage. Guests can stock up on groceries from grocery stores in Robertson, 20 km away, and barbecue facilities are available on the patio. A few restaurants can be found within 3 km. Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve situated 5 km from Mcgregor offers many scenic walking trails. The Kleinberg Trail is a 2-hour walk up Badge Hill, which can be spotted from the village. Private parking is available on site and pets are allowed in the fenced garden on request. Cape Town International Airport is 173 km away
