Featuring indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths and Japanese cuisine, Sakoya is 5 minutes from Kintetsu Yoshino Train Station on the hotel’s free shuttle. The Japanese-style rooms are air-conditioned, and some have a private open-air hot-spring bath. Each room at Sakoya Inn has a traditional tatami (woven-straw) floor and a low table with floor cushions. Guests sleep in futon bedding. Most rooms have a private bathroom, and all come with a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea. Located on Mount Yoshino, the inn is a 5-minute walk from Sanjo Ropeway Cable-Car Station, Yoshino-jingu Shrine and Kinpusen-ji Temple. There are 2 hot-spring baths that can be reserved for private use for an extra fee, and they must be reserved at time of booking. You can browse the gift shop or relax on the forest-view deck. A Japanese dinner is served at the banquet room, and traditional multi-course Kaiseki dinners can also be enjoyed for a fee. The Japanese breakfast is served at the garden terrace from April-November, and at the banquet room the rest of the year.
