Just a 3-minute walk from Matsugasaki Subway Station, Green Peace in Kyoto offers simple rooms with air conditioning and shared showers. A shared kitchen, coin launderette and coin-operated internet PC are on site. Wired internet access is available in room for an extra charge. Guests are assigned either a Japanese-style or a Western-style room at check-in. Japanese-style rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding. The Western twin room has a bunk bed. Kyoto Botanical Garden is a 20-minute walk away, while Shimogamo Shrine is a 30-minute walk. Yasaka Shrine is a 20-minute drive, and the property is a 30-minute taxi ride from Kyoto Train Station. The kitchen includes a microwave and a fridge that all guests can use. No meals are served.
