Located in the Shima hot-spring area, Kotobukiya Ryokan offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and traditional multi-course meals. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire building and guests stay in Japanese-style rooms. A free shuttle is available from Shima Onsen Bus Stop. Guests sleep on tatami (woven-straw) floors on Japanese futon bedding. A TV, fridge and an electric kettle are included in each. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Newspapers are available daily, and drink vending machines are on-site. Photocopying and luggage storage services are available at the front desk. Guests can enjoy a traditional multi-course dinner featuring homemade Japanese Soba noodles. A set menu is offered for breakfast and all meals are served at the guests’ rooms. Ryokan Kotobukiya is a 25-minute drive from JR Nakanojo Train Station and a 5-minute drive from Maya no Taki Falls. Lake Okushima is also a 5-minute drive away.
