Hasegawa Ryokan offers indoor/outdoor public hot-spring baths and traditional multi-course meals featuring fresh local crabs. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in the lobby and guests can request massages for an extra cost. A free shuttle is available from JR Awara Onsen Train Station, which is a 15-minute drive away and must be requested at time of booking. The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A safety deposit box, a fridge and a private toilet are included in each room. Bathrooms are shared. Local gifts can be purchased at the souvenir shop and guests can relax by the foot bath overlooking the traditional garden. Hasagawa is a 15-minute drive from Echizen Matsushima Aquarium and a 10-minute drive from Shibamasa World. The Tojinbo cliffs are a 20-minute drive away.
