The unique H'mong Mountain Retreat offers guests authentic Vietnamese tribal accommodation in Sapa. Its H'mong houses and earth bungalows were relocated from neighbouring villages to their current location. A free shuttle service goes to Sapa Town twice daily. Choose to stay in the 70-year-old H'mong house, or the bungalows with palm leaf thatched roofs. All feature panoramic mountain views from a terrace or balcony, as well as a shared bathroom facilities. Free fruit and drinking water are provided every day. H'mong Mountain Retreat is 6 km from Sapa Town and 40 km from Lao Cai Train Station. Bicycle and car rentals can be arranged at an extra charge. Parking is free. The main 80-year-old stilt house features a dining room, where breakfast is available from 06:00 - 10:00. Guests can also enjoy daily Vietnamese cooking classes there, or lounge in the common living area.
