A cosy Yorkshire Dales retreat, Farfield Lodge is a modern holiday home in Threshfield, 9 miles north of Skipton. French doors open on to a south-facing patio with barbecue, and a large garden with a children’s tree house. Farfield Lodge has free Wi-Fi and on-site parking, and its attractive lounge features a large leather sofa and sofa-bed. There’s TV, DVD and plenty of books and games to enjoy. The upstairs bedroom has a stylishly dressed double bed under its oak beams, and use of a luxurious shower room. The kitchen comes equipped with electric oven, gas hob, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is a large table in the wooden-floored dining area, and a welcome pack with milk, bread, orange juice, eggs, margarine and jam can be supplied for a small additional charge. The property is within walking distance of some excellent pubs and restaurants, with the village’s Old Hall Inn serving an impressive menu just 10 minutes’ walk away. There are many more choices in Skipton or the surrounding villages which are a short drive from Threshfield.
