Situated 3 minutes’ walk from the market square and town centre of Petworth, The Angel Inn is a refurbished inn with medieval origins. Its unspoilt bar features ships beams, wooden and slate floors, stone walls and 3 fireplaces, one of which is used to spit-roast joints of meat. Guests also benefit from free on-site parking. An en suite bath or shower room is provided in each room at The Angel Inn, as well as free Wi-Fi. A flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities are also included, and most rooms have a high-pressure shower. A selection of starters and main courses are served in the inn’s restaurant, and ingredients are locally sourced where possible. The property is located within the South Downs National Park, which means a wide range of activities are available within the local area, such as hiking, cycling and horse riding. The National Trust site of Petworth House is a 5-minute walk from the inn and features a collection of artwork and a scenic garden.
