The family-run Mansewood Country Guest House has a 300-year history and is situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The 4-star property is at the head of Loch Earn and boasts its own bar and free Wi-Fi. All rooms at Mansewood are en suite and individually decorated in warm and neutral tones with views of the surrounding scenery. Each room features a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee-making facilities, and beds are made up with feather down quilts. Breakfast is served in the bright dining room, and evening meals are cooked fresh using local produce whenever possible. Lochearnhead is under a mile away and is the closest village, providing the possibility of water sports on the loch. Stunning hiking country can be found all around, and the guest house is just over an hour’s drive from Fort William and the foot of Ben Nevis. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Oban with its famous whisky distillery are all an hour away by car.
