Grade II listed Abbey Court Guest House is a 150 year-old former coaching house, set just 5 minutes’ drive from the centre of Shrewsbury. It offers free Wi-Fi, free off-road parking and freshly cooked full English breakfasts. With a TV and free tea/coffee, each bright, airy room also has a private bathroom. Some bathrooms have a separate bath, and some guest rooms are located on the ground floor. The shops and historic medieval buildings of the town centre are 15 minutes’ walk from Abbey Court. Ancient Shrewsbury Castle is next to Shrewsbury Rail Station, just over a mile away. As well as the home-cooked breakfasts, a wide range of continental and vegetarian breakfast items are on offer each morning. Evening dining options can be found with just a few minutes’ walk.
