Set in the Northern foothills of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Defynnog, the CAMRA award-winning Tanners Arms offers a traditional pub, restaurant and cosy, en suite accommodation. Rooms have original 18th century features including vaulted ceilings, Inglenook fireplaces and Welsh slate. All have a plasma TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and tourist information booklet. The Tannery Restaurant boasts a log fire and delightful views of the River Senni and Brecon Beacons. The Tanners specialises in real ales, single malt whiskeys and has a great choice of homemade meals. There is free Wi-Fi in the bar and restaurant, as well as a sports area with board games and dart board. Guests can also relax in the south-facing beer garden. The property has free parking and is 15 minutes’ drive from Brecon and 40 minutes by car from historic Abergavenny.
