This grand hotel is situated in 100 acres of grounds and has 30 acres of Grade I listed gardens. There are 3 restaurants on site, as well as a heated indoor pool, a gym, and nightly live entertainment. The interior of Thoresby Hall Hotel is beautiful, with large staircases, high ceilings, and elegant Victorian features. In the grounds outside, you can enjoy archery, shooting, and croquet. The rooms have modern décor, and come with a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. Each comes with its own bathroom with a hairdryer, and there is also a seating area in every room. Breakfast and dinner at The Pierrepont restaurant are provided by Thoresby Hall. Alternatively, for an extra charge you can dine in the Italian restaurant or the 2 AA Rosette-awarded Blue Room. It is a 40-minute drive to Bakewell, the town made famous for its tarts. Clumber Park is 10 minutes away by car, and has over 3800 acres of parkland for you to enjoy.
