In the picturesque village of Tintern, nestled in the heart of the Wye Valley and a short walk from Tintern Abbey, this former rectory has stunning views of the river. There is free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Guests can relax in the garden, which has outdoor seating for the warmer months, and views of the river – where swans can often be seen on the water. Deer and other woodland animals can also be seen from time to time. Rooms at Tintern Old Rectory B&B are elegant, light, and traditionally furnished. Features include flat-screen satellite TV, an en suite bathroom, and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests can play croquet on site, and there are binoculars to borrow for anyone wishing to go birdspotting. Dean Forest can be reached in around 15 minutes’ drive.
