The Swan Inn is set in the rural Suffolk village of Little Waldingfield. Dating back to the 16th-century, original features include a log fire and exposed beams. It offers traditional cuisine in the relaxed bar and restaurant. Free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and mineral water are provided in each spacious and light room. A selection of toiletries and a hairdryer is included in each private bathroom and doors open onto the quiet garden. A full English breakfast is served in The Swan Inn’s restaurant, and the traditional bar serves a range of drinks. Outdoor seating is also provided in the large garden. Free on-site parking is available and just a 5-minute drive away is Lavenham, with its 15th-century church, medieval cottages and Tudor houses. Sudbury’s ancient market town is within 10 minutes’ drive and Colchester city centre can be reached after a 30-minute drive.
