Commanding far-reaching views over the English Channel, the Wight Mouse Inn is peacefully located amid grassy downs just 15 minutes’ drive from Ventnor. There is a large garden and terrace with a children’s playground, and fresh seasonal dishes are served in the restaurant. Bedrooms at the Wight Mouse Inn come with either sea or woodland views. Decorated in bright and warm tones, each room comes with a flat-screen TV, an en suite bathroom and tea/coffee-making facilities. The 17th Century property is now fully modernised with an indoor children’s soft play area, a spacious restaurant and bar area, and lounge rooms. The bar serves traditional Hall and Woodhouse ales. The inn is situated in the village of Chale, a 10-minute walk from Blackgang Chine, and with spectacular coastal walks all around. The larger towns of Newport and Shanklin are both within a 20-minute drive of the inn.
