The family-run Craigside Lodge Guest House is in the heart of Inverness, and enjoys views of Inverness Castle and the River Ness. En suite rooms with free Wi-Fi and parking are complemented by tasty full Scottish breakfasts. All guest rooms at Craigside Lodge have tea and coffee facilities and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and radio. Each en suite bathroom has a shower and hairdryer. A cooked Scottish breakfast with sausages, bacon, fried egg, black pudding, mushrooms, beans and tomatoes is served, along with a vegetarian version. There is also porridge, smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels, and cereals, juice, yoghurts and fruit. Inverness Museum and Art Gallery is just an 8-minute walk from this guest house, and the Eden Court Theatre and St Andrew’s Cathedral are around 13 minutes’ walk, just across the river. The Eastgate Shopping Centre, with numerous fashion stores and restaurants, is 10 minutes from Craigside Lodge.
