A 400-acre organic farm producing beef, lamb and cereals, Newburn Farm is just 10 minutes' walk from the Herefordshire market town of Kington. Around 3 miles from the Welsh border, it provides free parking and WiFi, along with a full farmhouse breakfast. Guest rooms include a flat-screen TV, wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. Bathrooms have a shower or bath, with a hairdryer and toiletries provided. A farmhouse breakfast is cooked on the Aga each morning, making use of produce from the region. There is also cereal, toast with preserves, yoghurt and fresh fruit salad, as well as freshly brewed tea and coffee. Kington is just over 20 minutes’ drive from the bookshops of Hay-on-Wye and 40 minutes from the innovative restaurants of Ludlow in neighbouring Shropshire. Just over 12 miles from the Brecon Beacons National Park, the town is 15-20 miles from Leominster and Hereford and offers scenic walks in its surrounding hills and countryside.
