Seven miles north of Ashbourne, the Peak District Spa offers luxury accommodation overlooking Alsop Dale in the Derbyshire countryside. With an on-site restaurant and bar, this guest house provides free on-site parking and a Scandinavian-style outdoor hot tub for an extra charge. Each guest room has solid oak flooring and doors, and includes a flat-screen TV, desk, wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities. All rooms have an en suite bath or shower, with hairdryer, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries supplied. Ground-floor rooms with disabled access and 1st-floor balcony rooms are available. Full English or vegetarian breakfast is served, along with bacon and sausage sandwiches and a range of teas and coffees. Freshly baked croissants, cereals, toast, fruit and yoghurt are also on the menu. The restaurant serves a range of evening meals including steaks, pies and salads, as well as a children’s selection. During low season, the opening hours of the bar and restaurant vary. Peak District Spa is a 20-minute drive from Buxton, with Matlock and Bakewell 20-25 minutes away. Chatsworth House and Park are around 30 minutes away from this guest house.
