For food, the award-winning gastro pub, The Horse & Groom, serves a fabulous homemade menu using local produce. Popular with the locals, it is just 100 metres away. Blenheim Palace is 36 minutes’ drive away from the cottage and the historical Warwick Castle is also 25 miles away. Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon is a short 32-minute journey in the car.
