Set in the village of Bourton-on-the-Hill, Pilgrim Cottage is a beautifully renovated Grade II listed house with free Wi-Fi. Surrounded by the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, it still maintains much of the original wooden-beam framework. The master bedroom, based in the cruck barn is the centrepiece to Pilgrim Cottage. There are also 3 other rooms, a large, fully-equipped farmhouse kitchen, a seating area, a shared bathroom and a flat-screen TV. For food, the award-winning gastro pub, The Horse & Groom, serves a fabulous homemade menu using local produce. Popular with the locals, it is just 100 metres away. Blenheim Palace is 36 minutes’ drive away from the cottage and the historical Warwick Castle is also 25 miles away. Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon is a short 32-minute journey in the car. Guests at Pilgrim Cottage benefit from ample on-street parking nearby.
