Each room offers an en suite or private bathroom and views over the extensive gardens, towards the River Severn and the Cotswolds. Guests are welcomed with tea and homemade cake in the drawing room. In the mornings, The Old Vicarage serves generous cooked breakfast in the dining room, which features a mahogany table and views over the grounds. Local beer and homemade cider can also be enjoyed at the property. Surrounded by countryside, the small rural village of Awre is home to an ancient church. Walks along the River Severn pass by the Slimbridge Wetlands Trust.
