Set opposite Musselburgh Racecourse, Arden Guest House is a Victorian house which still retains its original features. Conveniently located 1 mile from the beach and 15 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh, guests can explore the beautiful Scottish countryside as well as easily reach the capital. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, a TV, and a hospitality tray with tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms overlook the golf course and racecourse. Guests can enjoy a varied breakfast menu, including a continental option, and a selection of jams. The Full Scottish breakfast, made of locally sourced ingredients, is also available. With many golf courses nearby, Arden Guest House is proudly situated opposite Musselburgh Links, which, established in 16th century, is the oldest golf course in the world. The beautiful Inveresk Lodge Garden is 1 mile from the property. The property is 1 mile to the nearest train station with direct trains into Edinburgh City taking just 5 minutes. Buses to Edinburgh stop just outside the house and take 20 minutes.
