Situated along the coast in the fishing village of Port William, the Hawthorn House boasts magnificent views across Luce Bay. It is just metres from the beach, and offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The rooms at the guest house each feature wardrobe space, a hairdryer, and bathrobes. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided, and include fresh milk and homemade shortbread. In the mornings, the Hawthorn House serves full Scottish breakfast which is cooked to order and prepared using fresh, locally sourced Scottish produce. Port William is ideally located for exploring the Machars area of Dumfries and Galloway, which is home to safe, sandy beaches and a wide variety of wildlife. Further outdoor activities on offer include cycling and sea angling, along with golfing at St Medan Golf Club, just 3 miles from the guest house.
