Located in the village of Puncknowle, this 16th-century thatched village inn offers home-cooked British food, a lovely bar with comfortable sofas, log fires, and a garden overlooking the Bride Valley. With old windows looking out over the sleepy village and old church, the room at The Crown Inn has en suite facilities, a flat-screen TV and a seating area. Breakfast items are provided in the room fridge, including local Dorset cereals, flapjacks, fruit, smoothies, natural oat bars, biscuits and local teas and drinks. A cooked Dorset breakfast can be requested at the time of booking and is at an extra cost. The Crown is just 5 miles from Bridport and West Bay, the fictional town of Broadchurch in the popular TV series. Chesil Beach is a 20-minute drive from The Crown Inn while Dorchester and Weymouth are a 25-minute drive away. There is free parking at the property.
