Dorset muesli, seasonal fruit, and freshly baked bread feature on the menu, along with eggs from the property’s own hens. Apple juice is pressed in the orchard, and meat is from the local butcher. Rooms at The Old Forge are traditionally furnished, and each benefits from a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Each room also features an en suite bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Blandford Forum is a 15-minute drive from the building, and the coast at Bournemouth is less than an hour’s drive away.
