A 7-minute drive from the Devon market town of Honiton, The White Hart dates back to the 18th century, and enjoys a country village location in Wilmington. It’s around an hour’s drive to the Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, and around 30 minutes from the city of Exeter. A traditional English country inn with thatched roof and a rustic interior, The White Hart serves real ale and classic British food. There is a pretty garden for the use of guests, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. All rooms have a private bathroom or shower room, and many have garden views. Wilmington is on the Trafalgar Way, as used to deliver dispatches to London during the Battle of Trafalgar. The White Hart is 11 minutes’ drive from the town of Axminster, famous for its carpets. Honiton is of historical interest and is known as the Gateway to Devonshire, due to its proximity to the Somerset border.
