Situated in Grizedale Forest, a picturesque woodland area in the Lake District, this charming farm has an unspoilt location 5 miles from Hawkshead. Wi-Fi is free throughout, and there is free private parking on site. With original slate flooring, exposed beams, and a dining room that has been converted from the original old dairy, Crosslands Farm has many original features dating back to 1645. In the lounge there is an inglenook fireplace for guests to relax by. A hearty breakfast is served each morning, made from locally sources ingredients like Cumberland sausage, free-range eggs, and homemade preserves. Home-cooked evening meals can be arranged on request. Rooms at Crosslands are spacious and traditionally furnished. Most have an en suite bathroom, and one has its own private bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities with homemade biscuits are provided.
