Sunset B&B is found just outside the Cumbrian market town of Penrith, and less than 20 minutes’ drive from the Lake District National Park. It offers comfortable accommodation in a pretty, traditional cottage. The Sunset serves an excellent breakfast, with produce sourced from a local farm. There is a buffet with cereals, fruit salad and yoghurt too. Spacious rooms have en suite showers and are located on ground-floor level, looking out over the garden and fields beyond. You will find tea and coffee facilities in each room, along with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Newton Reigny is a small, rural village around 7 minutes’ drive from Penrith, which was once Cumbria’s capital. The town has a rich history, with Brougham Castle dating back to the 13th century, and Penrith Beacon high above the town, looking out over the Lakeland hills.
