On the banks of the River Tamar, the family-run Pentillie Castle and Estate offers woodland gardens, free Wi-Fi, and a games room. With free parking, it is just 5 miles from the centre of Saltash. The boutique rooms offer a flat-screen TV, radio, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite bath or shower rooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. In the mornings, Pentillie serves an award-winning full English breakfast. With homemade bread, granola, preserves and apple juice, dishes are prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. The eggs are from the onsite chickens. With prior request, evening meals may be available. The Pentillie Castle and Estate is on the border between Devon and Cornwall. It is surrounded by fine golf courses, including the Nicklaus course at St Mellion International Resort. The bed and breakfast offers an honesty bar with a selection of wines. Pentillie guests can also make use of the property’s gardens and the seasonal outdoor swimming pool.
