Just 5 minutes’ walk from the seafront and Penzance town centre, Ashton Guest House is a granite Victorian property which was built around 1900. Unrestricted free parking is available to all guests. A full English breakfast is served each morning, along with tea, coffee and fruit juice. Many places to eat lunch and evening meals can be found within a 10-minute walk, and some offer local seafood. The National Trust site of St Michael’s Mount is a 10-minute drive away and connected to the mainland via a man-made causeway of granite paving, passable between mid-tide and low water. The Minack Theatre, an open-air venue set into the cliff top above the village of Porthcurno, hosts a variety of plays, musicals and other performances and is a 20-minute drive away.
