In the heart of the famous whisky town of Oban, Lorne View is also on the gateway to the Western Isles with ferries leaving from the harbour a 10-minute stroll away. Panoramic views of Oban and modern rooms await guests at this Highland getaway. Each room at the traditional townhouse is individually decorated with quality furnishings and some boast stunning views of the town below and out towards Mull. Most rooms are en suite and Lorne View also offers free Wi-Fi. The property has a collection of DVDs, games, books and local guides for guest use. Oban has several pubs, restaurants and shops nearby, and the famous Oban whisky can be sampled at the distillery less than a 10-minute walk away. Loch Nell and the Fearnoch Forest provide picturesque hiking spots within a 10-minute drive. Glasgow is just under 2 hours’ drive away.
