In the charming coastal town of Oban, Lagganbeg Guest House offers individually styled rooms just a 5-minute walk from bars and the harbour front. With free Wi-Fi throughout, it also provides freshly cooked breakfasts. Featuring a TV, a radio-alarm CD player and free tea and coffee, each room is decorated with artwork of Oban. All but one room has an in-room shower and toilet, with one having an external but private bathroom. Lagganbeg’s breakfast menu includes cereals, full Scottish breakfasts, cooked-to-order sweet or savoury pancakes and fresh filtered coffee. Oban’s famous whisky distillery, surrounded by restaurants, is 5 minutes’ walk away. Lovely bay views from historic McCaig’s Tower are a 15-minute uphill walk from the house.
