On the banks of Loch Long, this 4-star hotel is surrounded by the magnificent scenery of Scotland’s west coast. There is a garden terrace overlooking the loch, and a lounge bar with wooden carvings and log fires in the colder months. With handmade shortbread, fluffy bathrobes and organic soaps, rooms at Knockderry Country House Hotel are all individually designed. They come with antique furniture, are decorated with local artwork, and feature a flat-screen TV. Evening meals are served in the old wood-panelled dining room, with its stained glass windows and pretty views over Loch Long. Full cooked or continental breakfast is also available each morning. There are a variety of activities you can enjoy around Knockderry, including walking, watersports and fishing.
