Overlooking the Bernese Alps, the Kanderhütte is a 15-minute walk away from Kandersteg Train Station and a 2-minute walk from the Oeschinen Cable Car. It offers free Wi-Fi and parking as well as a paved outdoor seating area. The rooms are decorated with wood panelling and they feature a washbasin and wardrobes. Shared bathrooms are located on each floor. In the wintertime guests can go cross-country skiing, sledging, ice skating, curling or ice climbing. In summer there are numerous hiking and alpine trekking opportunities. A heated swimming pool can be found in Kandersteg. Fondue is available at Kanderhütte, children below 10 are offered a discount. For groups of 10 people and more, the kitchen may be used at an additional cost. The Simplon Hotel, which is just steps away, also offers meals. Bus stop is in front of the house.
