Less than 500 metres from Lakes Björkern and Åsunden, this hostel is set in the small town of Björkfors. It offers a guest kitchen, free Wi-Fi access and garden terrace with BBQ facilities. Each simply furnished room at Björkfors STF Vandrarhem includes wooden furnishings and garden views. Shared bathroom facilities are found in the hallway. Bicycle, canoe and kayak rentals are possible on site. Vandrarhem Björkfors has a children’s playground and can also provide light lunches, if arranged in advance. Guests also have access to a laundry room. Linköping city centre and Astrid Lindgren’s World are within a 50-minute drive, while the towns of Kisa and Rimforsa are less than 30 minutes’ drive away. Five nature reserves are within walking distance of the hostel.
