Situated in the Blekinge Archipelago between Karlshamn and Ronneby, Tjärö offers calm surroundings and an à la carte restaurant. The island resort has buildings dating to the 18th and 19th Centuries. Each simply decorated room on Tjärö comes with a sea view. Some rooms have private bathrooms, and guests can book sessions in the island’s sauna and hot tub. Other facilities on Tjärö include a small kiosk, rowing boat and kayak rental, and there are many spots for fishing. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. There is a summer café on the island, and BBQ facilities are also available. The Tjäröbåten ferry to Guö takes 15 minutes, and from there it is 14 km to Karlshamn. There are no cars on this nature reserve island, and guests are provided with transfers from the dock to their accommodation.
