Altea and its historical centre is characterized by lovely squares with whitewashed cottages. It is located up on a hill and has various restaurants. bars and shops. From the old town centre hill you have a wonderful viewpoint with a fantastic view of the sea. In contrast to Benidorm. in Altea there are many low-rise constructions. This makes Altea a fantastic holiday destination for families with children who want to enjoy the peace and luxury of their own villa on holiday. Take a walk through Villajoyosa. with its authentic centre and coloured cottages or take the family on an exciting ride on one of the many attractions in the Terra Mitica fun park. which is only a 15 minutes drive from Altea. In the summer months. Alicante is a great ride away on the tourist train which runs between Alicante and Altea.
