Set outside Collbató and in the foothills of the Montserrat Mountains, Can Xiquets is within 35 minutes’ drive of Barcelona and El Prat Airport. This charming complex offers luxury apartments, and an outdoor pool set in large gardens. The apartments at Can Xiquets have stylish, lightly coloured décor, attractive finishes and high ceilings. There is heating, free Wi-Fi and a private terrace overlooking the pool, gardens and mountains. The living room includes a sofa, a TV and a DVD player. The spacious kitchenette comes with a fridge, microwave, electric hob, toaster, kettle and a coffee maker. There is also a dishwasher and a washing machine, as well as access to a shared laundry room with ironing facilities. The property is set in over a large area including an olive grove and a picnic area with a barbecue. There is a children’s sand pit and a games room in the basement. The famous monastery at Montserrat is 18 km from the Xiquets. You can reach it by taking the rack-railway train from Monsitrol de Montserrat Station, or follow the hiking route, which takes approximately 5.5 hours.
