These rustic rural bungalows are set in the pretty mountain village of Candelario. They offer an outdoor swimming pool, gardens and a terrace, 14 km from the Béjar-La Covatilla Ski Resort. The heated wooden bungalows at Cinco Castaños have traditional décor and mountain views. They feature a lounge-diner with sofas, table and TV and kitchenette with microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The private bathrooms have a shower. Cinco Castaños serves breakfast daily. Guests can enjoy a coffee and snack in the cafeteria or traditional, regional dishes in the restaurant, cooked in a wood oven. There is also a free Wi-Fi zone and a children’s playground. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Granadilla, set next to the Gabriel y Galán Reservoir, is 45 km away, while Hervás and its historic Jewish Quarter is 30 minutes’ drive away. Free parking is available at Casitas Cinco Castaños and Salamanca can be reached by car in around 50 minutes.
