The house is on the edge of the village of Santanyi. It is just a short walk from the village square. Two bicycles are provided for your enjoyment. They are the perfect way to discover Santanyi and its surroundings. The village of Santanyi is a welcome, peaceful alternative to the busy towns of Cala d’Or and Puerto Colom with their lively summer crowds. You'll enjoy exploring the winding narrow streets and the central square. You’ll find many attractive little shops, restaurants and art galleries. Wednesday and Saturday are market days. The quiet village then transforms itself into a lively, jolly maze of market stalls thronged with visitors. The house forms part of a traditional old Majorcan mill and has been carefully renovated while keeping its original character. The inviting courtyard has a nice terrace under an impressive bougainvillea. There is a private swimming pool. Casa El Molino is perfect for two couples or a family with children who are looking for an exceptional, traditional house on Majorca. Cecilia, the owner, is a charming Chilean lady. She lives next door in the old part of the mill. She will be pleased to tell you all about Santanyi and show you the fascinating mill tower.
