Housed in Espiel’s former train station, this hostel is located by the River Guadiato, 35 minutes’ drive from Córdoba. It has a garden with an outdoor pool, padel court and great mountain views. At Albergue de Espiel you can choose between a room, a bed in a dormitory or a whole cottage. All air-conditioned accommodation comes with a TV. The cottage also comes with a kitchen and a terrace. Albergue de Espiel has a shaded chill-out area in the garden, and there is a lounge with a fireplace and pinball machine. Home-made Andalusian food is served in the dining room. The hostel organises activities such as climbing, abseiling, archery and mountain biking. Puente Nuevo Reservoir is 10 minutes’ drive away. Hornachuelos and Cardenchosa Nature Reserves are also nearby.
