A fine example of Pelion’s architecture, the 200-year-old residence of Archontiko Michopoulou is located 500 metres above sea level in the village of Vizitsa. The refurbished and year-round mansion features accommodation with a panoramic view over Pagasetic Gulf, a fireplace and free Wi-Fi. Traditionally furnished, the rooms and suites offer an LCD TV, DVD/CD player and minibar. Free toiletries, slippers and hairdryer are included in the bathroom. Some units have a spa bath, seating area or sea view. A continental breakfast, enriched with local delicacies, is served daily at the dining area by the fireplace or at the garden under the plane trees. The on-site restaurant serves local and customary dishes daily. Various drinks and beverages are available at the bar throughout the day. Room service is also accessible. Café-bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Archontiko Michopoulou is 30 km from the coastal city of Volos. The Hania Ski Centre is at a distance of 27 km whereas the beaches of Afisos and Kala Nera are at 10 km. Parking is provided at no extra charge.
