Located in the village of Karkalou, the family-run Guesthouse Kastraki offers stone-built accommodation with mountain views. It has a lounge with fireplace and serves traditional breakfast. Each with a private balcony, Kastraki rooms feature iron beds and handpicked furnishings. They are heated and come with a TV, slippers and signature bathroom cosmetics. Some rooms also have a fireplace. Guests can start their day with a buffet breakfast including local products, homemade pancakes and marmalades. Later, they can enjoy drinks and coffees in the lounge served by the owners free of charge. The picturesque village of Dimitsana is 6 km away, while guests can also visit the nearby monasteries of Prodromou and Emialon. Lousios River is approximately a 40-minute drive away and it is ideal for rafting or hiking.
